Eid-e-Miladunnabi to be observed on October 20

The Public Administration Ministry has rescheduled holiday of Eid-e-Miladunnabi on October 20 (Wednesday) instead of October 19.
The decision was taken as per the decision of the National Moon Sighting Committee.
Public administration ministry issued a notification in this regard on Sunday (October 17).
On this day in 570, 12th of Rabiul Awwal, Prophet Muhammad (SM) was born in Makkah of Saudi Arabia with divine blessings and messages of peace for mankind. He also passed away on the same day in 632 in Madina. The day is a public holiday in Bangladesh.
