10-year jail term for PSC question paper leak

The cabinet has approved in principle the draft of Bangladesh Public Service Commission Act, 2021, keeping the provision of maximum 10-year imprisonment if PSC question papers are leaked.
The approval was given at a cabinet meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair on Tuesday (October 19).
After the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam briefed reporters at the secretariat.
“As per the draft law, those involved in the leakage of PSC question papers will be sentenced to a maximum of 10 years imprisonment, minimum 3 years imprisonment and will be fined,” the cabinet secretary said.
