Bangladesh logs nine more Covid-19 deaths

Bangladesh reported nine more deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 27,814 across the country so far.

Besides, some 278 new cases were reported during the same period. With this, the total number of infections stood at 15,67,417 in the country.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Saturday (October 23).

Alongside, as many as 294 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 15,30,941 the release said.
