Dhaka residents receive more vaccines

As per the latest information of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), a total of 6,08,83,363 shots have been administered so far in the country, said DGHS spokesperson and Director (Disease Control) Dr Nazmul Islam.

Out of the shots administered in the country, residents of the capital Dhaka have received more vaccines while residents of Bandarban received less vaccines.

The DGHS spokesperson disclosed the information on Monday (October 25).

During the ongoing vaccination programme in the country, some 37,14,266 people from Dhaka district have received vaccine and 1,57,995 people from Bandarban district received the shot as per the district-wise statistics, Dr Nazmul said.

According to division-wise statistics, residents of Dhaka division also received more vaccines. Some 1,13,92,217 people in the division have received at least one dose. The number of people who have received one dose in Chattogram division is 70,33,416.
