Murad apologises for his indecent remarks

State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murad Hassan, who has submitted his resignation letter to the ministry earlier today, apologised to all women in a Facebook status.

On his verified Facebook profile, Murad wrote: “Forgive me if I do anything wrong, or if my words hurt any mother or sister.”

“I will forever obey all the decisions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” he added.

Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina ordered the state minister to resign from cabinet by today for making derogatory and indecent comments on videos, said Awami League (AL) general secretary Obaidul Quader on Monday night in a press briefing.
