Two Bangladeshi women cricketers, who took part in a World Cup qualifying tournament in Zimbabwe, have been diagnosed with Omicron variant of coronavirus.
Health Minister Zahid Malek informed this on Saturday noon.

Those two cricketers have been kept isolation and they are taking treatment, he said.
Bangladesh women’s team returned home on December 1 after the qualifying tournament of the 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup was called off midway due to the outbreak of a newfound strain of Covid-19 called omicron.
The cricketers, upon arrival in Dhaka, headed straight to Hotel Sonargaon to serve a five-day quarantine.
