Bangladesh logs 12 more Covid-19 deaths

Bangladesh registered 12 more deaths from coronavirus (Covid-19) in the past 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 28,192 across the country so far.

Besides, some 11,434 new cases were reported over the same period. With this, the total number of infected cases stood at 16,64,616 in the country.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Friday (January 21).

Alongside, as many as 752 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 15,55,597, the release said.
