Covid-19: Bangladesh logs 14 more deaths, 10906 new cases

Bangladesh registered 14 more deaths from coronavirus (Covid-19) in the past 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 28,223 across the country so far.

Besides, some 10,906 new cases were reported over the same period. With this, the total number of infected cases stood at 16,85,136 in the country.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Sunday (January 23).

Alongside, as many as 782 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 15,56,861, the release said.
