Two killed in Dhaka road crash

Two people were killed and four others were injured when a truck rammed a pickup in Beribadh area of Rupnagar in the capital early Friday (March 25).

The deceased were known as Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, 22 and Mohammad Badal Sikdar, 40.

Mohammad Jafar, a witness said, a pickup van collided with sand-laden truck in the area around 2:30am, leaving six people injured critically. The injured were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the duo died under treatment.

Confirming the matter, ASI Abdul Khan, in charge of DMCH police camp said, the bodies were kept at the hospital morgue.
