Dr Yunus gives Tk 400cr to sacked employees

Grameen Bank founder and Nobel Laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus has given Tk 400 crore to 176 sacked employees of Grameen Telecom.

Dr Yunus’s lawyer Barrister Md. Mostafizur Rahman Khan told this to the High Court on Monday.

The hearing was held at the single-bench of Company Court’s Justice Muhammad Kurshid Alam Sarkar.  

Sacked employees of Grameen Telecom will withdraw their writ filed against Dr Muhammad Yunus and others, lawyer Md Yusuf Ali said this to journalists.
