Another arrested over dentist Bulbul murder

Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested another person from Jhalakathi for his alleged involvement in the killing of dentist Ahmed Mahi Bulbul in Dhaka’s Mirpur.

The arrestee is Md Ripon.

Manas Kumar Poddar, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Detective Police (Mirpur Zone), confirmed the news on Thursday (June 16) noon.

In primary interrogation, Ripon confessed to his involvement in the murder of Bulbul, the DC said.

Earlier on March 27, Bulbul was stabbed to death by miscreants in Mirpur’s Kazipara in the capital. Following his death, five people were arrested from different areas of the capital.
