HC directive to form commission to identify plotters against Padma Bridge

The High Court (HC) has ordered to form a commission in a bid to identify the ‘conspirators’ who made false stories about corruption involving the Padma Bridge project.

The court has ordered to form the commission within 30 days and submit its report within two months.

A bench of Justice Md Nazrul Islam Talukder and Justice Kazi Md Ejarul Haque Akondo passed the order after hearing a petition on Tuesday noon.

The authorities concerned of the government-Cabinet Secretary, Foreign Ministry Secretary, Law Ministry Secretary, ACC Chairman and IGP- have been directed to submit the report in this regard.
