Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque has said the government will enforce law to control coronavirus (Covid-19) if the people do not follow the health guidelines and if they do not wear masks.
“In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the government is working to make people conscious about using masks, encouraging people to maintain social distance and asking them to avoid public gathering. ‘No mask no service’ policy has been adopted to curb Covid-19 infections.
Legal actions will be taken if the people do not follow the health guidelines,” he said while speaking as the chief guest at an event organized on the occasion of the signing of annual performance agreement for the financial year 2022-2023 on Wednesday (June 29).
Coronavirus infections are rising again. More Covid-19 tests are needed at this moment, the health minister said.
