‘30,000 more teachers to be recruited in primary schools’

State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossain said, 30,000 more teachers will be recruited in primary schools.

He made the announcement while addressing an inauguration program at Kaliakoir in Gazipur on Wednesday (June 29).

The state minister said, the future of Bangladesh is in the hands of primary school teachers. Everyone should be alert so that Bangladesh can become intellectual and knowledge dependent.

After completing the ongoing recruitment process of 45,000 teachers, the ministry will start to recruit more 30,000 teachers, he added.

Aminul Islam Khan, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Gazipur Deputy Commissioner Anisur Rahman and others attended the program.
