Another youth who removed nuts, bolts of Padma Bridge held

Police detained another youth for his alleged involvement in posting videos on Facebook and TikTok after removing several nuts and bolts of Padma Bridge.

The detainee is Mahdi Hasan.

Md Asaduzzaman, chief of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CCTC) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), confirmed his detention at a press conference at the DMP media centre in the capital on Thursday (June 30).

Mahdi was detained from Lakshmipur on the night of Wednesday (June 29), he said.

Earlier on June 26, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) held Md Bayezid who went viral by removing nuts and bolts of Padma Bridge.
