Gold prices fall by Tk 1,166 per bhori

Jewellers in the country have reduced gold prices by Tk1,166 per bhori or 11.664 grams.
Bangladesh Jewellers’ Association (BAJUS) issued a press release in this regard on Wednesday (July 6).
The new prices will be effective from Thursday (July 7).
According to the new rate, 22-carat gold will cost Tk 78,382, which was Tk 79,548 per bhori.
Besides, the local market will sell 21-carat gold at Tk 74,883 from Tk 75,932 per bhori and 18-carat gold at Tk 64,152 from Tk 65,085 per bhori.
Meanwhile, the price for traditional method gold has been set at Tk 53,479, which was Tk 54,237 per bhori.
