Bangladesh registers two Covid-19 deaths in 24 hours

Bangladesh logged two deaths from coronavirus (Covid-19) in the past 24 hours, rising the national death toll to 29, 312 across the country so far.

However, some 218 new cases were reported over the same period. With this, the total number of infected cases stood at 20,08,500 in the country.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Friday (August 12).

Alongside, as many as 350 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 19,50,387, the release said.
