Blast at Uttara rickshaw garage: All 8 victims die

Shahin, the last victim who sustained burn injuries in an explosion in a scrap godown inside a rickshaw garage in Uttara’s Kamarpara in the capital, died on Friday night (August 12).

With this, death toll from the explosion rose to eight and all victims have died.

Shahin breathed his last at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery around 10:00am.

Confirming the development, Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery Resident Surgeon Dr SM Ayub Hossain said Shahin sustained 40 per cent burn injury.

The explosion took place at the noon of August 6, leaving eight persons burn injuries.
