1421 diagnosed with dengue in 17 days

98 people were admitted to hospitals after being diagnosed with dengue in the past 24 hours.

Of them, 77 are the residents of the capital Dhaka and the remaining are from outside Dhaka.

So far, a total of 1,421 people were admitted to different hospitals after being infected with dengue in last 17 days starting from August 1.

Meanwhile, 17 people died of dengue in this current year.

This was revealed from health emergency operations center and control room of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Wednesday (August 17).
