Tk10 lakh bounty announced for 2 escaped militants

Bangladesh police declared a bounty of Tk10 lakh each on the two escaped militants.

The public relations wing of the police headquarters issued a notification in this regard on Sunday (November 20).

"A reward of Tk 10 lakh will be given to help arrest each of the two militants who escaped from the court," according to the announcement.

Earlier, two death row convicts, accused in the murder case of publisher Faisal Arefin Dipon and writer-blogger Abhijit Roy, were snatched away from the premises of a Dhaka court after throwing spray at the eyes of police.
