Dengue claims 3 more lives; Death toll now 247

At least three dengue patients died, while 524 were admitted to different hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours till Sunday morning.

The total number of fatalities and cases have now risen to 247 and 56,130, respectively.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), of the new patients, 277 were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka, and 246 outside it.

A total of 53,954 dengue patients have already been released, said the DGHS report.

The first death from dengue was reported on June 21, this year.
