No banks will go bankrupt: Planning Minister

Planning Minister M A Mannan opined that no banks will go bankrupt in the country.

The minister said this while addressing reporters at Krishibid Institution in the capital on Wednesday (November 30).

He said that there is a lot of discussion about our banking sector. Some issues are also seen in the media. However, due to one or two incidents, the entire banking system should not be judged.

There is the law here, legal action will be taken if irregularities are found. No bank will go bankrupt, he added.
