Areas to suffer gas outage Monday

Gas supply will remain suspended for 12 hours in some areas adjacent to the capital Dhaka tomorrow (December 5) due to emergency repair work of gas pipeline.

This was confirmed in a press release issued from Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd on Sunday (December 4).

Gas supply in some areas involving Jahangirnagar University, Savar Cantonment, Savar leather industrial area and public service training centre will remain suspended due to emergency repair works of gas pipeline, according to the press release.

Residents of these areas will not get gas for 12 hours starting from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on December 5, the press release said.

Titas authorities apologized to the residents of those areas for the inconvenience.
