Areas in Dhaka to suffer gas outage today

Gas supply will remain suspended from this noon in various areas of the capital Dhaka today (December 7) due to emergency repair work of gas pipeline.

This was confirmed in a press release issued from Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd.

Gas supply in some areas of Dhaka involving Tejgaon, Mohakhali, Gulshan, Banani, Natun Bazar, Badda and Khilbarirtek will remain suspended due to emergency repair works of gas pipeline, according to the press release.

Residents of these areas will not get gas for 13 hours starting from 1:00 pm to 12:00 am on Wednesday, the press release said.

Titas authorities apologized to the residents of those areas for the inconvenience.
