Unusual calm grips Nayapaltan

The overall scenario of Nayapaltan has been changed after a fierce clash in the area.

Nayapaltan became a center of attraction yesterday following the BNP’s rally. But the location turned into a deserted area today (December 8).

The reporter of risingbd found that a huge number of law enforcers took position in front of the BNP office. The central office of BNP was seen locked.

Traffic has been controlled in this area since Wednesday night after the police clash with BNP activists in Nayapaltan yesterday.

The law enforcers have declared the BNP office area a 'crime zone' and put yellow tapes there. Although police put up barricades at Bijayanagar, Fakirapool and Nightingale intersection but removed those around 4:30 pm today.
