Fakhrul, Abbas taken to DB office for interrogation: Harun

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Standing Committee Member Mirza Abbas have been taken to the office of Detective Branch (DB) at Mintoo Road in the city for interrogation.

Chief of DB of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Harun-or-Rashid said this to journalists at his office on Friday noon.

The two leaders have been picked up for interrogation about the situation following the party’s rally in Dhaka on 10 December, the DB boss said.

DB Police detained Mirza Fakhrul Alamgir and Mirza Abbas in early hours of Friday.
