12 aspirants from Awami League collect nomination forms for Dhaka-17

A total of 12 aspirants from ruling Awami League have collected nomination forms for upcoming by-election of Dhaka-17 constituency, scheduled for 17 July.

The constituency became vacant following the death of MP Akbar Hossain Pathan, popularly known as Farooq, on 15 May this year.
Party sources said that the collection and submission dates for party nomination forms have been fixed till Tuesday afternoon.

Who have collected the nomination forms are Mohammad Ali Arafat, central committee member, Mohammad Wakil Uddin,  Mohammad Abdul Kader Khan,  Arafat Ashwad Islam, Mohammad Musa, Md Zakir Hossain, Abu Sayeed, Abdul Khalek, AKM Jasim Uddin, Kaniz Fatema Sultana, Abdul Khaleque, Abu Syed and Nazrul Islam Tamiji.
