4 companies to import 4cr eggs from India

The government has allowed four companies to import four crore of eggs from India in an effort to bring the instable egg market under control.

Each of the four companies will be able to import one crore of eggs.

A source at the Ministry of Commerce revealed the information on Monday (September 18).

The four companies approved by the Ministry of the Commerce to import eggs include Mim Enterprise, Prime Energy Importers and Suppliers, Tiger Trading, and Arnab Trading Limited.

On September 14, the four companies appealed for approval of egg import.
