Two held with 2,000 yaba pills in capital

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested two drug sellers along with 2,000 pieces of yaba from Shahbagh Thana area of the capital.

The arrestees are Md Siraj Mia, 52 and Rajib Kumar Bhoumik, 31.

Police arrested the duo from High Court Mazar gate after conducting a drive there at 6:30 pm on Tuesday (December 1), according to a DMP media release issued on Wednesday (December 2).

During the drive, 2,000 pieces of yaba were recovered from their possession, it said.

A case was filed with Shahbagh Police Station against them.
