Covid-19: Bangladesh reports 38 deaths, 2198 new cases

At least 38 people died of coronavirus infection in the country in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of deaths to 6,713 across the country so far.

Besides, some 2,198 new cases were detected over the same period, taking the total number of infected cases to 4,69,423 across the country.

A total of 2,562 patients have made recovery from the virus infection over the same period, bringing the total recoveries to 3,85,786.

A press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the development on Wednesday (December 2).
