‘Fuel prices to be adjusted following int’l market stability’

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal said, the fuel prices in the international market is not stabilized yet. The concerned ministry will take steps accordingly when oil prices come to a stable condition.

The minister said this while addressing reporters after a virtual meeting on Wednesday (December 1).

He said that the government will consider lowering fuel prices following a downtrend in the global market. The fuel price market is still in a fluctuating state and it is yet to reach stability.

In reply to a question about the new variant of Coronavirus ‘Omicron’, he said that we hope no effect of the new variant will be found in Bangladesh. The government has taken all types of measures in this issue.
