Altamis Nabil elected as JCI National Executive Vice President

Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh has declared its new national executive committee for 2025. In the recently held national extraordinary general assembly, of the organization, Md Altamis Nabil has been elected as the new national executive vice president (nevp) of the national organization.

In this new committee, entrepreneur Kazi Fahad has been elected as the new national president of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh, and young entrepreneur Arefeen Raafi Ahmed has become the new deputy national president.

The voting for this NEVP role was held at the extraordinary general assembly of the organization’s Bangladesh branch at a resort at Gazipur on 17 January, Friday, JCI Bangladesh said in a statement. The New board will be serving for the tenure of 2025. JCI Bangladesh's Immediate Past National President Imran Kadir congratulated the new board.

Altamis Nabil began his professional career after achieving a degree in electrical & electronic engineering from the Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology. Nabil is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of Youth Upskill Network (YUNet) also serving the role of Head of Manage Services at MIAKI. This multinational juggernaut manages one of the country's national-level ICT-based projects.

Nabil's creative prowess extends from page to screen, reflected in his compelling books: Moharaja Tomare Selam, Lumier Theke Hiralal, Let There Be Light, Banglar Cholocchitropath, Oscarnama & Content Writing Er Moharaja, and his directorial role in Sports97 Ltd., the prime sports management company, and the Neon Group, an automobile consortium. As an independent filmmaker, he directed several short fiction films & gained local-international acclamations.

For many years he has been uplifting the lives of countless young individuals worldwide, guiding them as a trainer in areas ranging from Personal Branding, Content Writing, Leadership, Safe Internet, App Monetization, and many more. He has also served as the founding editor of several online news portals. Currently, Nabil writes regularly for Bhorer Kagoj as well as several other national dailies and online platforms on film & career-related topics.

A dedicated champion of social change, he propels the B. Positive Foundation forward with unwavering passion. Adding to his impactful roles, he stands as a board member of the Rotary International Club, Also a member of prestigious organizations like the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB), and Bangladesh Organization for Learning and Development (BOLD), shaping the course of global youth leadership. Earlier in JCI, he worked as the Local President of JCI Dhaka West in 2022, National Vice President in 2023, Training Commissioner in 2024 & also honored as a JCI Senator.

‘The main goal of this youth-oriented organization JCI Bangladesh next year will be to actively participate in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals through various initiatives lead by our local organizations & by JCI, brand a positive Bangladesh globally’, added Altamis Nabil, the newly elected national executive vice president.

The organization JCI is found in over 100 countries and has a membership of more than 200,000 across the world. JCI Bangladesh is running its operation in Bangladesh with more than 40 local organizations with a member base of more than 4000 from all across the country.
