Conspirators of Aug 15 tragedy still active: Quader

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said everybody knows about how a conspiracy was behind the massacre of August 15, 1975 and the perpetrators are still active.

Obaidul Quader, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, said this at a memorial meeting organized by UK unit of Awami League on Sunday.

The minister attended the programme through a video conference from his government residence. 

The programme was organized to remember Awami League leaders Mohammad Nasim, Advocate Sahara Khatun, Sheikh Abdullah, Badaruddin Ahmed Kamran and others.

The minister urged the Awami League leaders and activists to remain alert so that conspirators cannot happen such incident again.

He also said that the killers of Bangabandhu were born to create instability in the country.
