‘Probe body working to unearth actual facts over Sinha murder’

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said that legal procedure has already started over the tragic incident of former Army Major (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan.

‘The probe boy formed in this connection will unearth actual facts behind the incident,’ he added.

The Road Transport and Bridges Minister said this while addressing a view-exchange meeting with officials of Khulna road zone, BRTA and BRTC at the Roads and Highways Department, joining it as part of regular discussions from his official residence in the capital through videoconferencing on Friday.

Obaidul Quader said, ‘A vested quarter are spreading propaganda and rumours over different issues. Some people are trying to instigate the two forces-- army and police-- over the death incident of former army officer Rashed. Some people are daydreaming to oust the government by creating issues over such incidents. the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government has a deep-rooted footing on this soil. So, there would be no benefit in spreading propaganda.’

Obaidul Quader requested concerned people at home and abroad to be alter to stop spreading rumors and propaganda through social media.
