‘Govt in strict position over rape incident of Sylhet MC college’

Awami League (AL) general secretary Obaidul Quader said the government is in strict position over the housewife rape incident that occurred at Sylhet MC College.

The Road Transport and Bridges Minister said this while speaking at a discussion on Sunday (September 27) noon. He joined the discussion through video conference from his residence.

Quader said, “The law runs on its own course in the country. There is also no government interference in the judiciary. Country’s people see that the government does not prevent legal action if supporters or leaders of its own party are found criminals.”

“Sheikh Hasina government is also in a strict position over housewife rape incident of MC College in Sylhet. The culprits will not get any exemption,” he added.
