Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said BNP is trying to take revenge by burning people again after being rejected by the country’s people.
He said, “The party killed people through petrol bombs and arson terrorism in recent past as well. They set buses on fire in the same way how they made in 2013. BNP’s past is of conspiracies and their political culture is killing and terrorism.”
The Road Transport and Bridges Minister said this while speaking as a chief guest a t the tri-annual conference of Rajshahi’s Bagmara Upazila Awami League on Saturday (November 14) morning.
He attended the programme through videoconference from his official residence of the capital.
Quader said, “There is video footages of burning buses. Everything is old and familiar. Police are trying to uncover the mystery of a phone conversation centering on the arson incident.”
