PM herself monitoring sculpture debate: Quader

Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said that the Prime Minister herself is monitoring the sculpture debate.

“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina herself is monitoring the sculpture debate and she knows how to deal with the situation,” he said.

Obaidul Quader said this after placing wreaths at the mazars of three leaders marking the 57th death anniversary of Hussain Shaheed Suhrawardy in the city on Saturday.

He said even though a quarter speaks about democracy, they never believe in democracy. Democracy has not yet been institutionalized due to the misdeeds of the evil force, he alleged.
