Barrister Moudud’s health condition worsens

The health condition of BNP Standing Committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed has deteriorated.

BNP chairperson’s press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan revealed this information on Tuesday (January 5).

Shairul said a six-member medical board headed by Prof Dr Shabuuddin Talukder was formed at 2:00pm today. Later, the medical board supervised the health condition of Moudud Ahmed.

Meanwhile, BNP Senior Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir talked to the head of the medical board.

BNP and Moudud’s family have asked the countrymen to pray for his early recovery.

Barrister Moudud Ahmed was admitted to Evercare Hospital (former Apollo Hospitals) on December 29, 2020 following his illness. The senior BNP leader is currently undergoing treatment at the coronary care unit (CCU) of the hospital.
