Rizvi takes 1st dose of Covid vaccine

BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has received the first dose of Moderna Covid-19 vaccine.

He took the vaccine shot at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in the city on Monday noon (July 26).

BNP’s health affairs secretary Dr Rafiqul Islam confirmed the matter.

Earlier on March 17, Rizvi was admitted to the Square Hospital with a high fever and cough caused by the coronavirus infections. He tested positive for the virus on March 16.
