Quader urges BNP to become election-oriented

Awami League general secretary, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said that there is no constitutional way to change the power without an election.

He made the statement while briefing reporters at his official residence in the capital on Saturday (September 11).

Quader said, “It is people who will choose their next government through election. BNP should be election-oriented to wipe out the stigma of failure of the last 13 years.”

“Sheikh Hasina has the honest courage to accept the verdict of people. So, take preparations for polls without wasting times here and there. Conspiracies have not worked for the last decade while the chances are very little for rest of the time as well,” he added.
