Khaleda Zia doing well, says Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said their party chairperson Khaleda Zia is doing well and out of danger now.

The BNP spokesperson made the opinion while addressing a press conference at BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office on Monday (October 25).

Khaleda Zia’s personal doctor AZM Zahid Hossain attended the press conference.

He said that Khaleda Zia has undergone a biopsy test. She has a small lump in one part of her body. She is absolutely fine now.

This test report takes time to come. It would be 72 hours or 15-21 days in some cases. The decision will be taken after getting the result, he added.

In reply to a question, Fakhrul said, doctors told that there is no complete treatment for them of her problems. That why her family applied to the government seeking permission to take her abroad for better treatment. But, unfortunately the government turned the application down.
