Khaleda Zia`s illness now ‘talk of the country’

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia's illness has become a hot issue in the country's politics.

The issue created fear and anxiety among leaders and activists of the party. Even, they are staging various types of programs demanding the release of party chairperson Khaleda Zia and for her advanced medical treatment abroad.

Besides, the administration remained in an alert mood to avert any kind of untoward situation centering on the issue. Ultimately, Khaleda Zia’s sickness became ‘talk of the country now.’

Currently, the BNP Chief is undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital. Her doctors said, Begum Zia is not in good physical condition.

On the other hand, her family's side applied to the government to take her outside of the country for advanced treatment. But, the government denied that citing legal issues.

Khaleda Zia’s physicians said she has been suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, ophthalmological and dental complications.
