Ivy to win polls with more than one lac votes: Nanank

Awami League Presidium Member Jahangir Kabir Nanak said that the party nominated Selina Hayat Ivy will win the Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) polls with more than lac votes, claiming there is no fraction in Awami League there.

He said this while speaking at a programme on the occasion of Bangabandhu’s Home Coming Day held at Dhanmondi 32 on Monday (January 10).

In reply to a query, he told the reporters the polls is Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) is going to be held with festive mood. Awami League unitedly is competing the election with Ivy.

He said, “There is no fraction on grouping in the Awami League. People are united there. Ivy elected the last election there by 84,000 votes. This time, she will win the polls by one lac votes.”
