BNP expels Taimur

BNP has expelled Taimur Alam Khandakar, who lost the Narayanganj city corporation polls, for violating party discipline.

Apart from Taimur, Narayanganj city unit BNP General Secretary ATM Kamal has also been expelled from the party.

Two letters signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi were issued on Tuesday.

Their primary memberships have also been cancelled, Rizvi added.

Taimur has been relieved from the party chairperson Khaleda Zia's advisor post and also from the Narayanganj district convener post.
