92 newspapers get permission to register online portals

The online news portals of 92 newspapers have got primary approval across the country.

A notification signed by deputy secretary Nasrin Parvin of information ministry’s press wing-1 confirmed the matter on Thursday (September 3).

According to the notification, as part of the registration of the online news portal, the primary approval has been given to the news portals of 92 newspapers.

The news portals of 92 newspapers will have to complete the registration process within 20 working days by submitting the required fee.

Earlier, on July 30, 34 online news portals were given this approval.
