Power supply could be restored by 8pm: ICT State Minister

ICT state minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak said that the power supply is likely to be restored in all areas of Dhaka city by 8:00pm while in Chattogram by 9:00pm on Tuesday (October 4).

The state minister said this in a post from his verified Facebook page.

Engineers and technicians of power grid of are working to restore the power supply, Palak said.

Meanwhile, he urged all to keep patience instead of spreading rumors.

Earlier, power outage hit several places in Bangladesh, including the capital Dhaka, due to a collapse in the national grid. The electricity supply came to a halt at around 2:05pm on Tuesday.
