Bangladesh gets bronze at World Robot Olympiad

Bangladesh won bronze medal in the prestigious robotics competition World Robot Olympiad 2022 in Germany.

Team Lazy-go, consisting of Tausif Samin from the Islamic University of Technology and Iqbal Samin Prithul from Bangladesh University of Professionals, bagged the award.

Besides, another team from Bangladesh, Team Robonium, achieved the eighth position in the Future Innovators category. This team included Israfil Shaheen Arannya from Cantonment Public School and College, Rangpur, and Mir Muhammad Abidul Haq Ahnaf.

The contestants participated in this international event at their own expense this year. JRC Board and Creative IT Institute provided support to them.

About 1,300 competitors from 375 teams from 73 countries around the world participated in this international competition.
