6 remanded in sex toy sale case

A Dhaka court has placed six people, who were arrested in a case filed with Paltan Police Station for allegedly selling sex toys online, on a two-remand each.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Moinul Islam on Sunday (February 28) passed the remand order after the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of police, investigation agency of the case, produced them before the court with a 10-day remand prayer.

Those who were placed on remand are Mehedi Hasan Bhuiyan alias Sunny, Mir Hisam Uddin Bayezid, Siam Ahmed alias Robin, Yunus Ali, Arzu Islam Jim and Rezaul Amin Hridoy.

The CID arrested the six youths from the Mirpur area of the capital for selling sex toys online.
