Masses pray for relief from Covid-19 at mosques

Muslims across the country observed Jumatul Wida, the last Friday of Ramadan, with due religious zeal and reverence.

Thousands of Muslims gathered in national mosques Baitul Mukarram mosque for Friday (May 7) congregational prayers seeking relieve from Coronavirus pandemic.

Senior Imam Mufti Mizanur Rahman administrated the Jumma prayer. Later, a special doa and munajat was held at the national mosque after Zohr prayers.

During the Jum’a prayers, imams and khateebs delivered sermons on the importance of Ramadan, Eitekaf, Eid-ul-Fitr and other religious issues.
