Bangladesh logs 212 more Covid deaths, 13862 new cases

Bangladesh logged 212 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 20,467 across the country so far.

Besides, 13,862 new cases were reported during the same period. With this, the total number of infections stood at 12,40,115 in the country.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Friday (July 30).

Alongside, as many as 13,975 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 10, 64,195 the release said.
